PHASE I
As a journalist first, my job is to learn your story. Why? Because YOU are your brand! I'd love to spend 1-3 sessions listening — We'll discover what makes you unique and discuss how to shape your past and present into the future.
Yes, this is a pun! Right now, so-called "tried and true" marketing strategies may make you feel overwhelmed and in a box. I'm here to showcase your unique qualities and make those systems work for YOU. If there's anything I've learned from being a Florida girl to thriving in New York, it's to keep doing you, friend.
When my partner in crime and I started our podcast in 2020, we learned we needed five main subject matters to discuss and promote on a regular basis. That's how the algorithm worked for US. (Of course, we're multi-hyphenate powerhouses over here. We have endless skills and talents, but we'll start with five.)
PHASE II
Let's see what you got! We'll gather all previous works: website, photos, videos, past interviews and more and see how we can mold them into your updated media strategy.
Your website is the nucleus of your operation – especially if you're selling a product or service. I'll work with you to see which website builder works best for your brand and your budget. (I can help get this off the ground and complete basic updates & maintenance. We may need to bring in a UI expert depending on how complex your site is.)
The social media game changes every day. I will complete daily research to see how we can continue to promote your brand as platforms evolve. I'll create a monthly content calendar (posts, stories, reels and all!) for your approval. We will need to subscribe to a scheduling tool for efficiency.
Also, do you NEED to be on TikTok? Honestly, maybe not. Let's capitalize on your current platforms before starting a new one from scratch.
Can you believe people still subscribe to emails these days? They really do. I'll make sure your customer or audience looks forward to that ding in their inbox! Email marketing should be a fun experience, from your consistent branding to punchy subject lines and badass promotions. I want your customers to have an alarm set to receive your emails. We'll find the right platform for you.
PHASE III
Whether it's monthly, quarterly or event-based, your newsletter is your chance to bring your audience to work with you and motivate them to support you or your cause. Newsletters are meant to be personal, which can be intimidating. We'll work together to find the right tone and of course, the right words.
With my handy-dandy iPhone, I can take photos and videos for your business and edit on PremierePro. I also want you to have basic photography skills, too! In case you get inspired or you see breaking industry news, I want you to to be able to achieve quality photos and videos you feel confident posting.
